Crafting Bespoke Woodwork
Meet the Maker

Hi, I'm Liberty. I make bespoke high-end furniture at my workshop in Fishponds, Bristol. I have been working with wood for five years, beginning as a self-taught carpenter before completing a Level 2 Furniture Making diploma at City of Bristol College.
I design and build your pieces from start to finish, from sourcing the timber to delivering it to your home.
I pride myself on being open, honest, reliable and friendly, and want you to feel empowered while we collaborate on the piece.
The process
1. Design
First, we collaborate on features you would like the piece to have, both decorative and functional. I will come to you with a design, and we will back and forth as much as is needed until the design is exactly how you pictured.
2. Source
Next, I will find the perfect timber to use for your piece from a local sawmill. I will bring it back to my workshop where it will rest for a couple of weeks, allowing it to acclimatise to the space before shaping to prevent unwanted movement.
3. Build
The build time will vary based on the complexity of the design, but I will keep you updated on my progress throughout. The process will involve a variety of processes including machines, hand tools and finishing.
4. Delivery/Install
We will arrange delivery of your piece at a time that suits you. For built-in furniture, install will be included. I will be respectful of your home as your own safe space, and will clean any mess I may make as I go. When you are happy with the final result, I will leave you to enjoy your new Sage Woodcraft piece!
